The Head-Royce girls varsity basketball team defeated Bentley 44-31 on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, moving to 13-2 on the season.
The Jayhawks led 32-11 at halftime. The biggest run of the night was a Head-Royce 18-0 run.
Morgan R. had 23 pts, 11 reb, 4 ast, 4 stl; Elena K. had 6 pts, 4 reb, 5 stl; and Abigail K. had 4 pts for Head-Royce.
Head-Royce shot 39.2 percent from the field (20-51) and 3-10 from the line, with 36 rebounds, 9 assists and 19 steals. Bentley shot 29.5 percent and turned it over 31 times.
