The Head-Royce girls varsity basketball team defeated College Prep 36-31 on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, moving to 1-5 on the season.
The biggest run of the night was a Head-Royce 14-0 run.
Ella Smith had 14 pts, 14 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl, 2 blk; Abigail Kim had 12 pts, 5 reb, 3 ast, 4 stl; and Bella Spencer had 6 pts, 3 reb for Head-Royce.
Head-Royce shot 37 percent from the field (17-46) and 0-2 from the line, with 46 rebounds, 12 assists and 12 steals. College Prep shot 15.4 percent and turned it over 19 times.
