OAKLAND, Calif. The Head-Royce boys varsity basketball team fell just short against Windsor High 65-68 on Thursday, June 27, 2024, moving to 9-5 for the summer.
The biggest run of the night was a Windsor High 11-0 run. The lead changed hands 14 times and the game was tied 3 times.
Andre Iguodala II had 13 pts, 4 reb, 2 ast, 3 stl; Micah Riebel had 12 pts, 3 reb; and Jack Peay had 11 pts, 6 reb for Head-Royce.
Head-Royce shot 45.2 percent from the field (28-62) and 5-5 from the line, with 19 rebounds, 14 assists and 8 steals. Windsor High shot 54.3 percent and turned it over 13 times.
