OAKLAND, Calif. The Head-Royce girls varsity basketball team defeated Redwood Christian 61-48 on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, moving to 12-4 on the season.
The Jayhawks led 46-32 at halftime. The biggest run of the night was a Head-Royce 9-0 run.
Morgan R. had 36 pts, 24 reb, 6 blk; Leila H. had 11 pts, 3 reb, 2 ast; and Hailey H. had 5 pts, 6 ast, 3 stl for Head-Royce.
Head-Royce shot 31.1 percent from the field (23-74) and 8-22 from the line, with 48 rebounds, 13 assists and 12 steals. Redwood Christian shot 43.6 percent and turned it over 11 times.
