Sanjay Ernst had 11 pts, 9 reb, 2 stl; Tua Montoya had 9 pts, 5 ast, 2 stl; and Tucker Peay had 8 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl for Head-Royce.
Head-Royce shot 40.4 percent from the field (21-52) and 8-9 from the line, with 32 rebounds, 13 assists and 12 steals. San Ramon Valley JV shot 40 percent and turned it over 7 times.
